The Sisters Of Mercy - Exit Club, Chicago, USA - 15.04.1984 (DVD)
HUGE THANKS to sleepchamber for sharing this one here in DCR.
The video quakity is the best I encountered si far. Unfortunately the tape degraded and the sound has some interferences, specially on the right channel, it annoys a little bit, but mostly if you hear it with headphones.
Anyhow, it a very good video and one of the few times the band played ABBA's "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme".

Skinny Puppy - Logo, Bochum, Germany - 21.10.1986 (Wav)
I already posted this concert in MP3 and with less tracks, therefore this is an upgrade in WAV and with the total tracklist. Taken from the Fractal Zoom bootleg, wich is equal to the Kill To Cure bootleg. Thanks to cEnda for sharing this one here.
Notes:
Copy of the 1991 Kill To Cure bootleg cd release, recorded at Logo in Bochum, Germany 10/21/1986.
Source material deliberately mis-attributed as being "Recorded live at the Geigerzähler, Basel (Switzerland) 1986"; except Track 11; 'Addiction' was taken from the "Nettwerk Sound Sampler Volume Two - A Food For Thought" CD, and track 12 'Incision' was taken from the "Remission" tape-this track is also available on the cd release.~
The tracklisting on the CD is wrong; tracks 8 & 9 are listed seperately on the cover, but are a single track (8) on the CD; making track 13 incorrectly listed as 'Incision', where it should be 'Choralone (Live In Houston)' - which is not listed on the back of the case and is taken from the "Spasmolytic" Maxi-Single.
'Glass House' and 'Far To Frail' are incorrect track titles; they should read 'Glass Houses' and 'Far Too Frail'.
Special Limited Edition, produced in The Glass House.

Dinosaur Jr. - KEXPstudio, Seattle, USA - 17.12.2011 (Flac)
One of my favourite bands. I still hadn't found a proper way to introduce them to the blog. This session is an excellent way to do it. Thanks to the original uploader.
=======================================================
From Wikipedia:
"Dinosaur Jr. is an American alternative rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts
in 1984. Originally called Dinosaur, prior to legal issues that forced the group to
change their name, the band disbanded in 1997 until reuniting in 2005. Guitarist
J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow, and drummer Murph were the band's founding and current
members; Mascis has been the group's sole continuous member.
Their distinct sound, characterized by high gain, extensive use of feedback and
distortion, and frontman J Mascis's melodic guitar solos, was highly influential
in the alternative rock movement of the 1990s."

Age Of Heaven - Club Lagerhof, Leipzig, Germany - 03.12.2011 (Flac)
And again Thanks to Northern Nephilim for sharing another master. This one pairs with The Cold recording, wich were the support act. The band was celebrating their 20th anniversary on this gig.
recording position: FOH
source/lineage:
- Yamaha Pocketrak W24 @ 24 Bit / 44 kHz
- Cubase (Master, Tracksplitting, DC Offset Remove) -> WAV 16 Bit / 44 kHz
- there was a difference of around 5 dB in the volume of the sound system from beginning to the
end of the show, so i had to do automatication on the FX channel to raise the gain constantly
through the recording so now it's always the same for better listening pleasure.
- Trader´s Little Helper 2.6.0 (FLAC Level 8, SBE Fix, Checksum)
information:
A nice local club evening called "Vanity Noire" with 2 bands playing:
- The Cold
- Age of Heaven
I recorded both bands so i recommend you should always trade this two recordings together.
It was really cold in that venue because of defective heating.
But hence the name of the opening band ^^ i didn't get a cold, thick leather coat rules ;-).
Nice FOH recording. There wasn't high SPL levels so the Yamaha did the job very good.
Only had to do soft EQing.
It was the 20th Anniversary gig for Age of Heaven, so they unleashed a fine set with classics
and lots of unreleased or new material.
For burning as a Audio CD put track 17 to 22 on a second disc.

ohGr - El Rey Theatre, Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA, USA - 11.12.2011 (Flac/Video)
Tour Western Fallout 001
Band: Ogre, Justin Bennett, William Morrison, and Jeff Smith.
Special Guests: Bill Moseley, Tim Skold, and Matthew Setzer.
Recorded by bronzebed using: Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZ-RH1; Sound Professionals CMC-4U with 4.7K Low Sensitivity Modification (Audio Technica Cardioid Stereo Microphones); Sound Professionals SB-11 (Micro-Mini Battery Module with Bass Roll-Off, utilized 69Hz Roll-off Frequency).
Sound Info: The audio has been converted to FLAC and is lossless. Modifications: volume has been increased, EQd and slightly compressed. Ogre was singing through a megaphone on Psychoreal & Shhh which is why the vocals sound the way they do for those songs. Sorry about the talking throughout the first few songs of the show. There were 2 guys and a chick talking across me almost directly into the mics. That stopped after a few songs.
Video Info: Sony Cybershot Model DSC-W290 (Digital Still Camera) 12.1 Megapixels. 720p Hi-Def. Audio & Video quality is pretty good for a cheap camera.
Picture Info: Nikon Coolpix S6100 (Digital Still Camera) 16.0 Megapixels. Pics really suck.
