Received in tape trade with French trader, cassette has AU1 written on label, the trader
in question escapes me but he is well known, I recognise the hand writing on the inlay card.
The recording is very clear and with a reverential crowd unlike some of the other 1994 gigs
where there is talking and in one particular case a girl that screams as soon as she hears
the first few bars of a song that she likes.
The tape does have a few signs of wear and tear, there are a few drop outs throughout the
recording, these are on the tape.

Taper notes, well fuck yeah I went and taped! and what a show!
I love Ohgr, and he rocked it, it is all his solo stuff, no skinny puppy material
(inspite of the audience screaming for it) and he toned down his stage act for the
show (guessing as he was not the headliner) and went for about an hour
Had not seen Kmfdm before and was very pleased. Rocking good show, but man they used enough
strobe lighting to induce a seizure!
Crowd was into it, not a full house and not much crowd chatter (were they heavily medicated?)
I still dont get how these shows don't turn into a massive mosh pit (but fuck it I was dancing)
Minor eq required

Justins words to the show:
It's difficult to put into words just how special last night was... it was the best moment in the history of Passion Play and the perfect note to end on. To see so many people filling Werk II and feel the atmosphere you all created exceeded all my hopes... A huge Thank You to Ralf Hünefeld, Sebastian Hilgetag and Chris Engel for making us the best we've ever been, to Thomas Mixmeister and Jennifer Paul for the great sound and lights, to aufnahme + wiedergabe for boundless dedication, to Thomas Thyssen and Ian P Christ for working to make the show happen, to Wave-Gotik-Treffen for the opportunity to finish on an all-time high, to the crew at Werk II for being the definition of relaxed professionalism and to all of you who were there to make it a magical night I'll never forget...
I'm going to start work on something new - I'll post news of it here when the time comes, but for Passion Play, this is the end.
Thanks for the memories,

This was the 9th show of the "Prayer Tour", or so the "Disintegration" LP's tour was so dubbed. Previously widely circulated as the "Dark Night" bootleg, although missing faith, and with charlotte sometimes incomplete. This is a transfer off of the analog master. According to cure-concerts, it was recorded with Sony WM-D6 Professional Analog Recorder, a very nice piece of equipment indeed. I like this recording very much. It's clear, with little crowd disturbance.

Not the complete set, but it is all that was broadcast. I think there was at least one more song in the encore, but I don't remember what's missing. One cool thing, though, in the middle of "Subway" he sings a bit of David Bowie's "Oh, You Pretty Things," which some guy in the lobby after the show was trying to convince me was actually David Byrne! Anyway, enjoy the show; I hope some more Peter Murphy turns up now.

...............................................................................................
here is a comprehensive website list of many live Nico recordings.
http://underpop.free.fr/n/nico/nicoperf.htm
In 1946, Nico and her mother relocated to downtown Berlin, where Nico worked as a seamstress. She attended school until the age 13, and began selling lingerie in
the department store KaDeWe, eventually getting modeling jobs in Berlin. At five feet ten inches and with chiseled features and porcelain skin, Nico rose to
prominence as a fashion model as a teenager. Nico was discovered at 16 by the photographer Herbert Tobias while both were working at a KaDeWe fashion show in Berlin.
He gave her the name Nico after her ex-boyfriend, Through her travels, she learned to speak English, Spanish, and French.
After appearing in several television advertisements, Nico got a small role in Alberto Lattuada's film La Tempesta (1958).
She also appeared in Rudolph Maté's For the First Time, with Mario Lanza, later that year. In 1959, she was invited to the set of Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita,
where she attracted the attention of the acclaimed director, who gave her a minor role in the film as herself.
By this time, she was living in New York and taking acting classes.
Nico's first performances as a singer took place in December 1963 at New York's Blue Angel nightclub, where she sang standards such as "My Funny Valentine".
In 1965, Nico met the Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones and recorded her first single, "I'm Not Sayin'" with the B-side "The Last Mile".
After being introduced by Brian Jones, she began working in New York with Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey on their experimental films,
In 1967, Nico's tenure with the Velvet Underground was marked by personal and musical difficulties. Violist and bassist John Cale has written that Nico's long preparations in the
dressing room and pre-performance good luck ritual (burning a candle) would often hold up a performance, which especially irritated band member Lou Reed.
Nico's partial deafness also would sometimes cause her to veer off key, for which she was ridiculed by other band members.
Between 1970 and 1979, Nico made about seven films with French director Philippe Garrel.
Nico returned to New York in 1979 where her comeback concert at CBGB. Around this time, Nico was often cited as an influence on the gothic rock scene.
Echo & the Bunnymen, invited Blue Orchids to be the opening act for their 1981 UK tour. She recorded her final solo album, Camera Obscura, in 1985.
Nico recorded her last concert June 6, 1988 at the Planetarium in West Berlin, Germany.
On July 18, 1988, while on vacation in Ibiza with her son Ari, Nico had a heart attack while riding a bicycle, and she hit her head as she fell.
Causing a brain hemorrhage that ended her life at the age of 49.
I'm unsure who's playing bass guitar, so I listed both possible players.
Personnel:
Nico - vocals, harmonium
with The Blue Orchids:
Martin Bramah - guitar, backing vocals
Una Baines - keyboards, vocals
Steve Garvey - bass, backing vocals
Rick Goldstraw - bass guitar (1979–82)
Phillip Toby Toman (aka Toby Tomanov) - drums (1981–82)

RE-UPLOAD: The Sisters of Mercy - NEC, Birmingham, UK - 22.12.1993 (Flac)
An upgrade to Flac of one of my favorite concerts. HUGE Thanks to DrG for sending me this version to share here, and of course to the original poster on Dime, gimmetruth.
DrG Notes: Corrected track 6 mislabeled "Destination...", removed MD5 in favor of FFP from FLAC Frontend. Shared at Heartland with good grace of gimmetruth!
NOTE FOR DARK CIRLCE ROOM POST: Some bootlegs sound like they were recorded in a tin can, some like they were dropped in a bucket of water. I listen to all my music through Winamp with *flat* EQ. However, with most *iffy* sounding bootlegs, chances are that EQing can help. That is how I remaster some recordings for CD (to play in a car and such). At home, I use Winamp's EQ to make a tinny bootleg have more bass, and a bassy boot have more treble. Try it... experiment. I can send you a screen shot for the preset I made for this TSOM recording if you need... I love it! It's twice as loud and adds punch!!!

Lauren launches this year's 6 Music Live, at the BBC's Maida Vale studios, with Morrissey.
Morrissey recorded four Maida Vale Sessions for John Peel alone, when he was with The Smiths, and then went on to forge a successful solo career with his debut solo album in 1988.
All ten of his solo efforts landed in the Top 10 on the UK album charts, including three entries at Number One. This November he releases Low in High-School, his first studio album since 2014.
Set list, but nothing introduced so not cross referenced to tracks, banter (drivel mostly) in separate tracks.

I Wish You Lonely

Jacky's Only Happy When She's Up On The Stage

information:
Germany´s number one Goth Rock act is doing some gigs this year, the gig on the WGT was called as the really last gig of them but it looks like it´s a little reunion tour after so many years. They put a really superb sound at the problematic Agra stage, only female background voice went distorted on first song. A really great concert and one of the highlights of this year´s WGT.

This one fit perfectly on one side of a tape. I didn't stop the tape at the end, I just let it run out which it did about 20 seconds after the final song ended.

RE-UPLOAD: The Vaynes - Town Hall, Dingwall, Scotland, UK - 21.08.1989 (Flac)
Continuing with the Mish Highlands Tour from 1989, again with The Vaynes as a support act. Thanks to Egg_Crisis for another great share.
Cassette(Audience,Master,TDK D90,recorded on Saisho PS 35R with built-in mic) > wav > Soundforge(normalise uneven L&R channels) > CDWave(split on sector boundaries) > flac(6)
Taping position: front row.
The gig was supposed to be at a venue called Legend's but at the time I was told it "hadn't been built yet."
They didn't bother with the intro tape for this gig. "Big Cities" and "Helta Skelta Time" were also on the setlist but they cut their set short and then came back with a surprise encore of "Cinderella". The reason for cutting the set short would have been because there'd been complaints about the sound during the Mission's soundcheck, and The Mission only played for 70 minutes with no encore - the reason I was told was that the police told them to stop because of the noise. I think probably before The Vaynes even went on they'd have been told they were only allowed to play until a certain time (10pm or 10:30 seems likely, but I can't remember) so both bands had to cut their sets short.

RE-UPLOAD: The Vaynes - Ritzys, Aberdeen, Scotland, UK - 22.08.1989 (Flac)
Again Thanks to Egg_Crisis for sharing another master. The band was supporting the Mish on the Highland Tour.
Cassette(Audience,Master,TDK D90,recorded on Saisho PS 35R with built-in mic) > wav > Soundforge(normalise uneven L&R channels) > CDWave(split on sector boundaries) > flac(6)
Taping position: fairly near the stage for the first half, sitting down for the 2nd half.
There was no intro tape and the start caught my by surprise but I managed to start recording as the first song is introduced. The stop button got knocked during T.V. Man as I was moving closer to the front, so a couple of seconds were missed there.
Before Big Cities you can hear someone say "...going to sleep, I'll wake you up when they...". I was so tired after 9 days travelling around Scotland (and not getting enough sleep) that I was falling asleep!
Setlist:
01 Rock N Roll Crime
02 T.V. Man
