Tony Campos - Bass, Vocals

Dan Cleary - Acoustic Guitar and Vocals on 18.
Performance / Recording Notes:
Uncle Al and Co wrap up their AmeriKKKant Tour with a two night run at Hollywood's iconic Fonda Theatre. The band performed two brief sets. The first was comprised solely of the band's latest album, AmeriKKKant. The second was comprised of classic trax with four songs
culled from The Land of Rape and Honey, including the seldomly played "Stigmata". I never set out to see Ministry three times over the course of 18 months (I actually missed a show last November at The Palladium). However, when I saw that he was playing nearly half of Rape and Honey, I knew that it would be a must see / must tape show! Holy crap am I sure glad that I did, because what happened next was truly unexpected and historical. After the encore break, Al returne to the stage accompanied by Cesar and Chris with Dave and Dan on acoustic guitars. He then says the following...
"We're sick of playing old shit right now. So we decided right now that we're gonna play something older...".
He then broke into an acoustic version of "(Everyday is) Halloween". WHAT! Did we just become brothers!? YEP!!! It's been 30+ years since Al has played this song live! The audience was completely enthralled! In fact the guy to my right even said "I'll be quiet during this song!"
A really solid pull off a white hot stack. A bit of EQ was performed to recover some of the bass that was a bit lacking because of the battery box settings. Minimal amount of crowd noise as to be expected from a stack tape for such a loud show. I had to declap some areas.
There's a few instances of the audience that can be heard between songs, but nothing that interferes with the performance or the enjoyment of the show. A few judicious edits of crowd noise were made between sets and during the encore break. No music was lost. Also, "(Everyday Is) Halloween" was boosted by +6dB to bring the levels closer to the rest of the show.
Of Note:
The show opened with a 3 minute trailer of the Wax Trax documentary entitled "Industrial Accident". It also sounds to me as though Derek is slightly off click on "Stigmata". Still a phenomenal show!
Highlights:
Chris Connelly on 10 monumental minutes of "So What" and the oldies: "The Land of Rape and Honey" and "Everyday Is Halloween" of course.
Now can Al please make nice with Paul Barker as well so we can get this fucking show on the road?
Please support the band by purchasing their latest album AmeriKKKant or by going to see them on tour...

Notes:
Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is the second Mark Radcliffe session by Electrafixion.
Loose is a Stooges cover, which is also available as a bonus track on their album (but not this specific version; the one on the official release is from a live concert at Shepherds Bush Empire, 22 October 1995).
Radcliffe and Mac are taking the piss out of one another here, which is all the more amusing particularly with the ribbing about the syndrome where the lead singer of a band departs for a failed solo career and returns back to the departed band. The pity with Electrafixion is that they were going fairly strong despite middling critical reception, before the Bunnymen reformed a year after this.
There is also some minor tape bleed, and sound was muffled so some slight EQ was done to bring out the high ends.

Notes:
Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is this short radio session by Electrafixion.
It's just two tracks, no DJ interjections were present on the tape. Sound was muffled so some slight EQ was done to bring out the high ends.
Crash FM was a radio station set up by Janice Long in 1995 -- according to some sources, their on-air debut was in November 1995, which doesn't make sense of the context of when this session aired, so perhaps this was before Crash permanently situated itself for the duration of its existence.
Much like Electrafixion, Crash FM was not around for long, so it's tough to research anything about their sessions.
Any and all corrections welcome.
Enjoy,

The Fall - Larry's Hideaway, Toronto, Canada - 21.04.1983 (Flac)
Excellent audience recording - COMPLETE SHOW - from 1st generation cassette copy
Created from a first generation cassette copy of an audience recording (exact recording equipment unknown, but definitely one of the Sony Professional Walkman series of tape recorders and a high quality microphone was used to capture this). The sound quality on this is actually so good it could genuinely be mistaken (and sometimes has been) for a professionally recorded mixing desk (aka 'soundboard') capture.

They abandoned playing Heart And Soul halfway through, I don't know why.
Tape flip between tracks 10 & 11.
I failed to find the title of track 11. www.rosetta-stone-info.co.uk was a good resource for finding the titles I didn't know by looking up the bits of lyrics I could hear, but I can't find track 11 on there. Maybe it wasn't performed often, or maybe a cover?
These are the lyrics:
.........
so warm inside
no place to hide
no place to hide
i see you in your eyes
i see it....... i feel it....
i feel it in your soul
i feel it nearly everywhere
i feel it in my face
like walking on the air
i see it....... i feel it....
There were 3 support acts, which I didn't tape. I didn't catch the name of the first, the 2nd was called "Yo Yo Calico" and the 3rd one might have been called "The Doppelganger" (the guy kept saying "I am the Doppelganger", maybe it was just one of the songs.)
Bishopgate Venue was a weird venue. I seem to remember the concert area was long and thin with the stage down one side, but maybe memory is playing tricks. I just remember it as a strange shaped venue which helped to create an odd atmosphere. I don't know how long it existed as "Bishopgate Venue", not long, 1989/90 definitely. I couldn't even remember whereabouts in Leeds it was until I googled... "formerly Daggi's, under the station" and now known as Dino's.

Bikini Kill / Huggy Bear - Duchess Of York, Leeds, UK - 13.03.1993 (DVD)
HUGE Thanks to Egg_Crisis for sending me this DVD to share here.
Original Info File:
Witchy Poo consisted of members of Bikini Kill & Huggy Bear.
Unfortunately the master tape was damaged in 2001 when the original camcorder was breaking down and so there's a line on the screen during the first two songs but the damage clears up before Bikini Kill start their first song.
On entry to the gig leaflets were being handed out (scan included) explaining how girls feel intimidated at gigs by guys moshing etc, so guys weren't allowed at the front. Also there were a lot of people at the gig so it was quite a squash fitting everone in. Consequently for this reason I couldn't film from my favoured position standing on top of the seats next to the sound desk and ended up sitting on the very end part of the bar at the right hand side.
As well as me there were FIVE other people filming this gig!
