The Invisible Girls had been together as a band since 1978. In 1980 they teamed up with Pauline Murray and released two singles. In 1981 they recruited a certain Wayne Hussey, released a third single, and played a few live shows. The group's collaboration with Pauline Murray ended later that year.

For those who like it heavy, the original Penetration guitarist Fred Purser set up the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) group, Tygers of Pan Tang after leaving Penetration. Not usually my kind of thing, but unreleased studio demos of theirs from 1983 have just surfaced here: http://confederatemountain.blogspot.com/2014/11/tygers-of-pan-tang-unreleased-studio.html.
