PIL - Crawford Hall, University of California, Irvine - 26.03.1992 (Flac)

Awesome beyond belief sound, this should make a lot of you happy since the PIL DVD was quite well received. The 10 minutes version of Rise is enough to justify hearing it, but not only. Thanks to the original uploader and mixer/re-uploader.

Original Info file:

From Westwood 1 Pre-FM master

For a Westwood 1 master, the original tape had a mass of continuity breaks - gaps in songs, repetition, applause cutting out.  I've managed to eliminate them all for a seamless listen.  The sound quality is excellent, and I haven't altered it - just the edits listed below.

01. Intro <1:49>
02. This Is Not A Love Song <5:37>
03. Criminal <5:10>
04. Love Hope <4:15>
05. Think Tank <5:41>
06. Rules & Regulations <4:50>
07. Disappointed <6:21>
08. Acid Drops <6:33>
09. Luck's Up <3:43> segues nicely into...
10. Cruel <3:35>
11. The Body <6:56>
12. Covered <4:47>
13. Rise (Part I) <10:11>

69:36

Lineage: Pre-FM master > WW1 prod. > Cassette > CDR > wav > cool edit pro > wav > flac

Edits made -
1. Songs realigned to start points - they often started before the start of tracks.
2. Repetition of start of "Disappointed" edited out (previously, its intro was a separate track).
3. "Cruel" started a minute or so before the end of "Luck's up", and had a fade/gap before restarting - this has been patched with a ~1 second section from earlier, with the fade unfaded and small drop-outs removed.  It's unnoticeable now.
4.  The applause at the end of "Covered" cut out abruptly - it has been restored with a patch from elsewhere.
5. The split of "Rise" into two parts was repaired - the split seemed utterly senseless, and the two merged seamlessly.
6. Applause at the very end faded out.

Artwork included.
Thanks to tranehead for the original!
