The end of Hit & Run is missing where the tape ran out. It doesn't sound like there's a lot missing. Also the sound goes a bit wobbly towards the end of the song.
I received this tape with no date listed. I'm assuming it's from late 1989. It's definitely not from early in the bands existence like those 1986 demos - the performance is a lot more polished and the songs sound more like the sort of stuff the band was doing in 1989.
As of Sept'89 none of these 6 songs had appeared in the bands live set. That was the last time I saw the band, I don't know how much longer they continued. I think H quit in early 1990 so these demos must be from those final few months before he quit the band. Of course I may have this totally wrong! If anyone's got any further info then make a comment!

These songs were all post - H when Johnny Stevenson has replaced him so must be from 1990 as H left end of 1989. Ride / Monkey Paw / Hit & Run / Crawl Away all featured in shows throughout 1990 when they gigged around the UK for around 6 months before calling it a day.
