Motion Tourist - Hearts and Heads EP + Balance EP (Free Download)



As QB says, if you like The Cure or The Chameleons, you have to give a listen to this new band. Their two EPs are ready to be downloaded at their bandcamp page.

The release of there debut EP 'Balance' in may 2010, brought critical acclaim to the band from the north east music industry with articles in Crack Magazine, NARC, Northern Line and The Journal Newspaper, and earned the band a loyal fan base in the reg...ion aswell attracting BBC Introducing.

In June the band made it down from thousands of acts around the country to be named 4th best unsigned in the UK, with a final show at the 02 Arena, London. This has established them on the national scene, bringing support slots with Chris Helme, Joe Carnell, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Starsailor and Little Comets to name a few. Even attracting musician Mr Hudson to a recent london show.

2011 has seen the bands sound move forward dramatically which has resulted in interest from around the country. After playing newcastle's evolution emerging and evolution festivals, motion tourist look forward to main stage festival slots over the summer with feeder, calvin harris, miles kane and carl barat among others. The band have also announced the release of their second EP entitled Hearts & Heads on July 4th.
