Stray Cats - The Ritz, New York City, NY, USA - 28.11.1982 (Flac)

Thanks to propylaen for sharing this vinyl rip on Dime.

NBC 83-10
The Source - NBC Radio's Young Adult Network
Syndicated radio broadcast window of March 11, 12, 13, 1983

This is sourced directly from the LP vinyl discs of the syndicated radio show The Source, NBC Radio's Young Adult Network. The show is numbered NBC 83-10, with a broadcast window of March 11, 12, and 13 of 1983. The same set list was broadcast on December 10, 11, and 12, 1982 on NBC 82-43. Both shows do not include the final song of the last encore, which was a cover of Eddie Cochran's "Something Else."

Files were manually declicked in Audacity. 300 dpi scans of the cue sheet and record label are included. The commercials are tracked so that they can be deleted if you don't find them of interest. Still trying to figure out the Bud commercials...they're clearly imitations of bands current at the time...anyone want to venture a guess? (particularly track 15...)

George Taylor Morris, the announcer for this show, is generally credited for helping to reignite the "Dark Side Of The Rainbow" urban legend in the late 1990s, when he mentioned on air that Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album can be played while watching MGM's 1939 film, "The Wizard of Oz," and the lyrics and music will sync up with the screen images.
