Echo and the Bunnymen - On Strike (Bootleg)

So here's the most famous, and hard to find, bootleg from the Bunnymen. I transfered it from Vinyl to CD in 1998, because a friend of mine was lucky enough to buy the record when it was released in the 80's, and as soon as I got the possibility to do a transfer, this was on the top of the list. The guy didn't even borrowed the record, he brought it, we did the transfer, and he left with it, that's how much he liked it!

Excellent sound.

The source of the recordings is not stated in the bootleg, but a probable date is Stockholm - 29.04.1985. The band played some double concerts in Sweden, where the first part was only cover versions, and they were transmitted on the radio.

Depeche Mode - Malmo Arena, Malmo, Sweden - 25.01.2010

A concert from last week. Excellent sound. Thanks to the original uploader.

Original TXT file:

"DM was in a good mood, especially during the second half when things started fucking up. First Martin started Miles away all by himself, but then Policy of truth totally fell apart in the first verse, prompting a laughing band to stop it (and the screen animation!) and starting all over again. Stuff like this is rare to experience and it made the concert breathe very nicely, as the rest of the gig had a very loose feel to it. Insight, Home and One caress were all very beautiful, probably the most beautiful Martin performances I´ve seen to date (4th gig since february 2006). The audience was a bit lame but came alive during the "hits". As usual."

The Sisters of Mercy - The Roxy TV Show Performances - 1987 / 1988 (VOB Video)

The sisters didn't tour during the Floodland era, but they sure promoted it has much as they could, the videoclips had a massive rotation on the music channels and they did various appearances in TV shows. As a result of all of this promotion the image of the band was used until exhaustion. That's probably the reason most people still associate this incarnation of the band (Andrew and Patricia) as being The Sisters of Mercy.

This videos are very 80's, but that's probably why that still maintain their appeal, more that twenty years later...

Fields of the Nephilim - Moonchild - Progresja, Warsaw - 22.01.2010 (Video)

This is a MultiCam video I made using sources I took from Youtube and edited in Premiere. The image quality is quite nice, I'm astonished with it, since I was convinced that you could only take awfully pixelated videos from there. That is not true, with the right tools you can even take HD quality videos...

This is the perfect preview of the excellence that is expected in the concert in Porto, it's going to be a hell of a night! Miss it and you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it.

A giant size thanks to the following YouTube uploaders, without whom this would not had been possible: shinepoisonivy, adriani666, wa5t3, duralala and ml777.

The Sisters Of Mercy - Kir Club, Hamburg - 31.08.1983

There's a vinyl bootleg of this concert, but misses 6 songs (Kiss, Anaconda, Heartland, Emma, Floorshow and Gimme Shelter), that actually are stated as present in the cover, instead of the last two songs (Lights and Sister Ray) that occupy all of the B-side and are not listed anywhere. Dumb bootleggers... EDIT: Actually, the bootleggers covered the mistake with a Sticker with the correct tracklist, it seems my copy doesn't have that sticker.

This recording was shared by Cyberbio and is taken from a tape.

The Frontcover is "The Phoenix" by Rembrandt, 1658.
