The Trashcan Vol10.

Another big chunk of loss, it's definitive, 12 volumes won't be enough to purge all this trash...I'm making the volume larger but even so...

Are you cpmplaining that this Trashcan is is kind of SFW!

You weren't expecting the trash to be in plain sight, were you?

Worthless or not, you'll have to work a little to get it.

Well, don't be afraid, sin is uncovered to the bone.

The Sisters Of Mercy - Razzmatazz 1, Barcelona, Spain - 08.04.2006 (Flac)

This recording was missing Romeo Down, so it was patched with a lossy version from the same recording, by the person who first shared it.

Unfortunately, Andrew had grave problems with his voice on that day. Immediately afterwards, The Sisters announced to come back and play another gig here with free entrance for ticket holders of that evening.
As promised, they returned to Razzmatazz on 13th May 2006.

information:

No bible like the other tapers wrote^^ , here the important facts:

As first i saw there would be a reunion of DCD i thought it would be a April Fools joke. But after i saw the announcement on Brendan Perry's official site and late the dates appeared i didn't feared anything and bought the tickets IMMEDIATELY.
I planned to attend the Hamburg gig also but job reasons didn't forgive me and i had to sell the ticket again. OK the ticket was more stable as gold after prises risen on ebay when the shows were sold out within hours. So i had fuel and Merch money in Berlin for free :>

For the recording i was in luck no chattering guys around me. Just one with bad lungs and coughing several times, except that the recording has turned out fine. Sat in the near to left stack in row 11 so i evened the channels, and i evened the volume of the audience between song breaks with channel automatication - no compression used.

My highlights on the concert definitive Mr. Lovegrove, Amnesia, Sanvean.
Before Ime Prezakias Brendan showed solidarity to Greece and for Germany because 3rd October is Unification Day.
The Host of Seraphim. Sound like they dropped vocals by one octave (tested by the autotune tool xD ) because they aren't that young anymore so it felt a bit strange and Brendans vox at the end a bit like "Easy Going .. Easy Going" :)

VERY SAD: they didn't play Return Of The She King which is the best track on Anastasis for me. And they charge 25 Euros for a T Shirt i can't understand why because the mass they are printing of them. So i only grabbed their new album on merch.

Opening Act was David Kuckhermann solo with his hangs and the Riq, didn't record him but the Riq performance was the same as shown on his youtube channel. But for better concert flow me thinks a opening act (like Evi Vine + Live Band ^^) might be better.

Incomplete Recording and unfortunately the recording levels were set a bit too high, so there's some destortion in vocals, also it seems that the live sound mix was far from perfect in this concert. La Fura Dels Baus - Suz (Flac)

Had this tape laying around for years, so I decided to rip.

In the 80's La Fura dels Baus were an underground theater troupe that did very confrontinal performances, usually involving the public in the performing area. They usually played the musical soundtrack of the performances live. This was the first time they released it in a studio version. It doesn't have the same intensity as the live version, but even so is quite good.

These days, La Fura is one of Spain's biggest theatre companies, they've so high profile that are often invited to create performances for european Capitals of Culture (last one was in Guimarães, Portugal) and even did the opening ceremony of the 1992 olympics.

If you're wondering how this album sounds, it quite electronic (almost industrial) and experimental, it fits the blog like a glove. The musical aspect of La Fura evolved with the performances and it's quite diverse through the years.

This was released in 1986, in LP and MC, supposedly there was also a CD release, but I never saw it. I bought this MC at one of their performances in 1990, and it was the only format avaiable, all the LPs had sold out.

The legendary "Ö3 Musicbox" was an austrian radio progam till 1994,
the "FM4 Spielzimmer" was following in 1995, broadcasting excellent live shows.

From 1987 I taped most of the shows on a VHS HiFi Video Recorder.
Starting from 2002 I recorded via FM capture card direct to HD.
So I have ca. 200 shows in very good Fm - quality.

Enjoy it,

Toy Dolls - Lyon, France (11th June 1991)

Alrights here's a great 20 minute performance by the Toy Dolls from German TV in 1986.
That quality is pretty good with great audio and a few wavy lines here and there, and
i have also included a great live show from France in 1991. The quality is good with
good sound and good filming, the filmer cuts a few songs but nothing too bad...
Another excellent addition to everyones ever growing Punk Rock DVD library...

Dead Can Dance - Royal Albert Hall, London, UK - 26.10.2012 (Cam Mix Version DL DVD)

I've been receiving a lot of requests for this DVD, some here it is. Huge Thanks to everyone involved in making it.

OriginalInfo File:

EagleDog Productions Presents
In Association with Aion Group Productions:

Dead Can Dance - `At The RAH` (EagleDog Productions DVD-23)
Live at the Royal Albert Hall, London
October 26, 2012
audience PAL video recording / 2Cam mix version
Double-layer PAL DVD, cover art by Jaraslesny
Menus and chapters included (menu music is a sample from the recently uploaded Geneva FM show, thanks to finkployd49 for recording that!)
Quality A

Camera 1, post-production and authoring by Lamb79
(Lineage: Panasonic HDC-SD5 --> Sony Vegas 10.0 for base footage & multicam mix)

Camera 2 `Bootsy`
(Lineage: unknown camera --> DVD bought through YouTube --> Sony Vegas 10.0 for base footage)

Audio recording by Ian Macdonald
(Factory-matched pair of Schoeps CCM 41V microphones (DINa mounted) --> Marantz PMD661 recorder with Oade Concert Mod -18 dB gain/44.1 kHz/24 bit WAV)

Well, where should I start? Maybe to say, Merry Xmas :)

This is my first ever multicam. To be fair, can a 2cam mix to be called multicam?

I have filmed Brendan Perry several times during his 2010 tour in Europe, few of those have seen the light of the day on Dime (Galway, London and Utrecht). Last time I had the chance to speak to him (at the Utrecht gig), I asked the question if I could get his permission to film Dead Can Dance at some point but he somehow dodged the answer so for obvious reasons, I had to go stealth on this one. I did film the Tangerine Dream gig at the venue in 2010 so I knew what to expect- it reflected on the choice of the tickets.

I planned this gig as the usual one-man operation with filming although previously mentioned to my good friend IanMacd (most of you probably know him from from Dime already) that I'll might be needing his audio. He was kind enough to provide me with the unedited audio file (same as he uploaded but without slicing up to tracks http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=426159).
What I didn't know was that the known filmer and bootleg seller, Bootsy will be attending. After a pointer, I found out the he did film the show as well. After seeing the Youtube link provided, I tried to deal with the guy to get his HD files but negotiations were cut short. I wanted to make this one a Blu-ray, but my PC probably couldn't get through with one before so stayed as a DVD, then HD files were not necessary. A new friend, Antonio has bought the DVD version and provided me with a copy.

About this DVD - editing took around 3 days, I didn't touch the audio at all, only syncronised it. Luckily the two cams have similar atributes when it comes to color, my one (on the left) picked up a bit more lights while Bootsy's (on the right) picked up more movement in the dark. Bootsy's source had several problems: 1, he probably wanted close-ups so his one is handheld, but filmed form close by. 2, There are minor shakes but lots of zooming, when close-ups are nice, they are wondeful! 3. He missed around the first 2 minutes from the show, also the first song was completely useless (Children Of The Sun) so the real 2cam mix begins from the second song, Anabasis. 4, Most of the time when he was zooming, he did it so fast it made my eyes funny.
My filming is the static-type- I focused my cam on the stage, put it down and only touched it inbetween songs (well, most of the time). I was sitting farer from the stage though but I got very good shots of the whole stage, sometimes even closer.

It might sounds ideal to you to mix a closer and a farer source, but since I wanted to make the footage and it's transitions to be as smooth as possible, I had to make the editing a bit slow. In the sample provided, you'll see what I mean. I think it is still looking very-very good, also to my knowledge this is the first audience mix footage of Dead Can Dance :)

Because the second cam for this project was bought, I early on made a decision- in every second song, a little marking is there on the top-right corner (free fan-made dvd, never buy or sell) for 8-10 seconds. I have seen many of EagleDog's DVDs for sale (even pressed on silver disc!) and since I had a problem regarding this with an artist recently, I want to make sure I did everything to avoid this. But I also made sure that it does not interrupt the enjoyement of the concert itself.

I wish I could work on more recordings like this one. Not just for the band or the performance, but in general it was a great experience.

Special thanx to:
Ian Macdonald, Jaraslesny, Antonio and all of you in the Aion Discussion Group. It was great to see many of you on this tour- next year we'll repeat that I hope!

Enjoy!

information:

Day four from 21st WGT in Leipzig, where i taped in the Centraltheater:

- Dogma
- Eklipse
- Alice Neve Fox (Elena Alice Fossi)
- Irfan

Final day with concerts on Wave Gotik Treffen at the Centraltheater (formerly known as 'Schauspielhaus').
Beautiful venue. If you want to listen to bands with very good sound on WGT this is the place to be.

Elena Alice Fossi, singer and composer on several releases of Kirlian Camera, Spectra*paris, Siderartica and Stalingrad, started working on her acoustic side for fun a few time ago with a help from friends Kyoo Nam Rossi (guitars, percussion) and Andrea Artusi (double bass, bass).
The project made its debut as headliner on the occasion of the “Benefit For Kids Festival”, a charity event to support children with disabilities.
Audience's welcome was so enthusiastic that Elena Alice decided to keep on working on the project, going to open the Kirlian Camera exclusive show in Dresden, Germany, 2012, as a very special guest, gaining even more success!
Just in Dresden, Johannes Berthold joined the band on grand piano and the trio momentarily turned into a quartet.
Therefore, “Alice Neve Fox” became the effective name of a very unconventional band, led by such an unique singer/musician, who's considered by several observers as one of the most innovative and talented artists on today's music scene.
And, after the acclaimed concert/event held by ANF (whose line-up included skilled english cello player Alessio Rubens Richard Tedeschi) at the Central Theatre in Leipzig, Germany, late May 2012, whereas an incredible standing ovation rewarded the band after the show in an overfilled and tickets-sold-out temple of music, the project's fame started growing up more and more.
Alice Neve Fox's music is currently based on reinventing songs taken from a varied and rich international repertoire, turning them into a very personal and visionary world, even giving room to that music herself composed and co-composed for above mentioned projects she comes from.
Some unreleased songs are going to complete the picture of a band which could be seen as an excellence in the “noir” music field!
A mix of elegance, wild attitude, lost atmospheres, soulful climate, and even some TwinPeaks-ean decadent echoes... is going to meet the main thing for Elena: making music from the bottom of her heart!

The Trashcan Vol9.

This trash load is a bit bigger, it seems that if i want to keep the 12 volumes mark, I'll have to start puting more stuff in each one of them...

I DID mentioned the Trashcan is NSFW! Let's say it again.

THE TRASHCAN IS NSFW!!!!!!! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!

You weren't expecting the trash to be in plain sight, were you?

Worthless or not, you'll have to work a little to get it.

Well, don't be afraid, sin is not telling anyone.

Gift (Flac)

An offer from Robert, a big Thank You for this gift. Serves as an upgrade to flac also, just in case some of you don't have this Gift.
