RE-UPLOAD: The Sisters Of Mercy - Bradford University, Bradford, UK - 15.05.1984 (Flac)

HUGE Thanks to Dan for sharing this rip on the TSOM 1981.1985 Facebook group.

Original Info File:

Setlist:

01 Burn
02 Heartland
03 Walk Away
04 Anaconda
05 Body & Soul
06 Floorshow
07 Emma
08 Adrenochrome
09 Alice
10 Body Electric
(encore 1)
11 Gimme Shelter
(encore 2)
12 Ghostrider

Length: 53:55

Cassette (audience, low gen?, TDK D60 from a record fair in 1991) > wav > Soundforge(normalise uneven L&R channels, manually remove approx 35 clicks by redrawing with the pen tool) > CDWave(split on sector boundaries) > flac(6) (> flacs tagged with winamp)

Tape flip between Emma & Adrenochrome.  Emma ends abruptly and a few seconds of the Adrenochrome intro are missing.
Before Gimme Shelter you'll hear the most goth comment ever heard at a Sisters gig from an audience member: "Where's my big top (h)at?".

Very good audience recording, not a soundboard as some have thought.  Listen to the audience comments, a soundboard wouldn't pick those up so clearly.  Also notice the moments when the taper moves the orientation of the mic and the quality shifts slightly, for example at 2:23 in Heartland, and also during Body & Soul.

IDENTIFIERS (spoken between songs or during the start of the next song):

01 Burn
"Thanks ... 25 eh? ... Heartland"
02 Heartland
"Thanks ... (eat some)(?)"
03 Walk Away

04 Anaconda
"I'm sorry about this moat."
05 Body & Soul
"Thanks. ... yeah ... Floorshow"
06 Floorshow
07 Emma
(tape flip)
"Adrenochrome"
08 Adrenochrome
"You what? ... Alice"
09 Alice
"Body Electric"
10 Body Electric
"Bye bye"
(cut)
"I dressed on clock(clonk?)."
Audience member: "Where's my big top 'at?"
"Gimme Shelter"
11 Gimme Shelter
"Thankyou, bye bye,"
(cut)
Audience member into stage mic: "Andrew, shout for Andrew, Andrew! Andrew, happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! It's his birthday!"
"Never seen the man before in my life!"
12 Ghostrider

A pretty good quality audience recording, unfortunately the information about what recording equipment or microphone was used to capture this has been lost. There is some slight background noise, but actually not that much audience noise that interferes with the music.
