David Bowie - Sports Palais Ahoy, Rotterdam, Holland - 13.05.1976 (Flac)

It's been a while without Bowie posts so this one is just the better way to do it. Thanks to Captain Acid for sharing this one.

Original Info File:

Hi Bowie fanatics,
here is another Bowie gig from `76 restored.I got this Cd in a trade long time ago.I did all the usual things, pitch, phase and level correction and EQ in the end. This is now probably the best sound of this gig ever.

Erik Snow was the main collaborator here with his advices and positive energy. He also made another nice artwork, for this edition.
There will be few more Bowie remasters, from 1976.
Nothing more to say.

Enjoy

This one was uploaded to DIME a couple of weeks ago by carrionphase, but there was some trouble with the uploading process and the torrent went under, wich ment that very little people noticed it (it's still there, but you'll have to use the search function). Since it's one of the best Ministry audience videos, I decided to share here also. Low generation copy of a beautifully tripod shot video. Thanks to uploader for sharing this true gem. The Cure - Wembley Arena, London - 12.09.1985 (DVD)

I got this one a long time ago on a blog that doesn't exist anymore, so it's time to make it available again. Nice audience video, thanks to the original uploader.

Original Info File:
Recorded with a JVC video camera attached to a JVC Portable video recorder (pre camcorder kids)
Master VHS 'C' cassette > Panasonic E35 DVD recorder/VCR combo > Tsunami DVD Author V3

MPEG-2, 720 x 576 25 fps (4:3) PAL
Dolby Digital, 48000 Hz Stereo, 384 kbps

Filmed from a standing position about halfway back from the stage towards the left.

During Charlotte Sometimes, I spotted two security guys pointing at me so I stopped filming,
removed the recorded cassette from the recorder and placed that down my trousers and repalced it
with a blank cassette. The security guys dragged me down below the stage somewhere were I was
confronted with who I believed to be the Cure's manager Chris Parry - He took my (blank) cassette
from the recorder and told me not to film again. OK.

This recording is a bit shaky as I am filming mostly at max zoom but it is better than nothing OK.
The sound is a bit distorted but being a m0, very clear too.

Tracklist:

1. Play For Today (missing the start)
2. A Night Like This
3. Primary
4. The Kyoto Song
5. The Blood
6. Hanging Garden
7. Charlotte Sometimes (excerpt)

Excellent FM broadcast. Unfortunately it's not the complete broadcast, it misses three songs that are only avaible to UK listeners. Maybe someone can complete this one? If  not, these five songs are more than worth the download. John Lydon doesn't seem to get older, he's better than ever.

The March Violets, Ulterior, James Rays Gangwar - Islington O2 Academy/Slimelight, London, UK - 13.11.2010 (Flac)

And a wonderful surprise dropped by Eggi today here on DCR, his master recordings of the March Violets and Ulterior and Islington Academy in 2010 and James Rays Gangwar after party concert at the Slimelight.  A HUGE THANK YOU!!! This is like Christmas came 9 months earlier! Respect.

Sound it's Excellent on the March Violets and Ulterior recordings. The James Rays Gangwar was, by all accounts, plagued with an awful sound, so the recording is also a little muddy, but actually better than the sound on the venue. It didn't help that the JRG concerts consisted in a barriage of feedback with some improvised lyrics (I have all their records and could only recognise two songs...)

The MV concert is incomplete, only the first 40 minutes, but worth listening to every second of it :)
