Cocteau Twins - Loft, Berlin, Germany - 14.02.1984 (Flac)

Very good recording, a huge THANK to DIMENEW and SpaceBandit for sharing this one on DIME:

From DIMENEW collection # 098

Rec. info:
unknown lineaged audience recording, but judging the sound a low gen, most likely 2nd or 3rd.
This cassette (TDK SA90) -> playback on Harman Kardon CD491 -> Zoom H2n (at WAV 16/44) -> SD -> HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME ->
YOUR EARS AND MIND...

Overall sound is pretty fine for a tape of that age. The recording is only marred by the automatic gain control of the recorder, resulting in increasing the levels of the audience noise between the songs. As the pauses between the songs were very short, I did no further equalizing on that.

"Where is the drummer?" someone from the audience asked at some point during this show. Well, a question for there's only one answer: It's the machine.

As I personally dislike any use of a drum machine, this is not really a tape of my taste. But as I'm told this may not be circulating too much, I see no reason why our team should not offer this recording to those who like this music. I hope some of you will so, and enjoy it. CT's songs seem hard to recognize by name, so I spared the research of a setlist to one of you experts. SB.
