The Durutti Column - Les Bains Douches, Paris, France - 12.02.1982 (Flac)

Very good FM capture. Thanks to finkployd49 for sharing it on Dim and to PettyV for the setlist.

'France Inter' FM broadcast

Two versions : with and without DJ

SOURCE  : EX++ stereo FM master tape. Superb performance and quality.

PLEASE NOTE : this concert is spoilt by a DJ (Bernard Lenoir ?) who speaks over the music ; therefore
I made two versions of the same gig :
- 101 to 109 with DJ
- 201 to 208 without DJ (fades instead ; some music is lost, mainly on intros). In this version you get eight tracks instead of nine, because track 105 is DJ only.

LINEAGE : FM broadcast -> Tuner QUAD FM 3
-> master TDK AD type I cassette
-> Nakamichi Dragon (with auto-azimuth) Dolby  off for playback
-> Zoom H2 -> Goldwave v.5.08 for tracks splitting, edits, maximizing
-> TLH 2.4.1 (build 160)-> FLAC level 8 align on sector boundaries

  2. This gig is special, because it features Alain Lefebvre (from Belgian band Marine) on drums, standing in at short notice for Bruce Mitchell, who had to return to Manchester for reasons unspecified.
The tracklist should in fact read:
    101. Sketch for dawn (fades in)
    102. Party
    103. Conduct (in the shorter live version, as heard on Live in Brussels)
    104. Sketch for summer
    105. (DJ speaks)
    106. The beggar
    107. Never known
    108. Missing boy
    109. Sigh becomes a scream
