ZWAREMACHINE - Raumschiff EP‏ (Free Download)

Hello electronic music fans...
Today a new excursion into the darker side of the dancefloor begins.

[ZM001] RAUMSCHIFF EP
http://zwaremachine.com/pages/raumschiff-2011

Zwaremachine arrived in an evil analog-powered spaceship, haunted by the ghost of a robot and responsible for reprehensible crimes throughout the galaxy. Inspired by industrial music such as Throbbing Gristle, Front 242 and mid-period Ministry, Zwaremachine comes armed with technology from the future.

The haunting debut EP by this duo is assembled from the original source recordings "The Nightmare" released by Satan Starship as exclusive download and available here -
http://machfox.com/pages/exclusive-downloads

With an eerie and nostalgic hum on the new EP, the duo wanted to shed some skin, rename the project and embark into new modern electro industrial soundscapes while keeping their persistent dark experimental approach.
This EP is being released worldwide by ZWAREMACHINE as single track free-download under a Creative Commons License on 011111.

Swans - Volksbühne, Berlin - 13.12.2010 (Flac)

The comemorations for the upcoming concerts of the Swans in Lisboa starts early. here's a fabulous audience recording by F.C. with excellent sound. Thanks to F.C. and to scttrbrn for taping and sharing.

Original Notes: This was the most brutally deafening show I've ever witnessed.
Even my good earplugs didn't give enough protection - and I sat at the
very back of the venue... I was surprised to find no distortion or clipping
on the recording afterwards. Instead the sound turned out very good in
my opinion.

The setlist was very demanding, completely ignoring the more "catchier" or
melodic side of the Swans backcatalogue. They were punching in the crowds
faces and stomachs instead with their selection of vintage material and
songs off their new record. But it was good nonetheless. A night to remember.

Thanks to the original uploader. Nice sound, with some tape hiss.

Original Info file:

Warm up for the German tour that started a few days later, with the same set-list as those dates, notable only for probably the first play of Ride The Storm. Taped by Steve Syson on a recorder left by the mixing desk. It sounds a bit murky in places, but very listenable. Odd chants of Neighbours. Also a cry of "Petal Patrol" for any old hands out there.

Side 2:

2 - Why Don't They Blow Us Up?
3 - I'd Like A Piece Of Meat / Michael Jackson
4 - U2
5 - Car Bomb

Recorded off the sound board onto Maxell XLIIS cassette with whatever tape deck was present, this tape has been legendary among all of my friends for many years. The sound quality is amazing... I've never heard Negativland recorded quite so well... Given our state(s) of mind at that show, I have no idea how we managed to capture this as well as we did... but here it is. At home, I've chopped these bits up into each track as best I could, but I figured that it would be best to preserve the whole show's continuity as two sides of the, now infamous, cassette.

Enjoy.
