Depeche Mode - Grand Journal Studio, France - 26.03.2013 (1080i)

While watching this one I was thinking that DM aged extremely well, the new album is great and they're always excellent live, even in a TV studio everyboby is getting crazy. Thanks to the original uploader on DIMe (from where this video was banned, so here's a chance to get it).

The Scientists/Siouxsie And The Banshees - City Hall, Sheffield, UK - 07.10.1985 (Flac)

Thanks to Egg_Crisis for letting me share this one here.

Cassette(audience,TDK D90,2nd gen) > wav > Soundforge(normalise) > CDWave > split on sector boundaries > flac(6)

I looked on discogs.com to help me with the song titles I didn't know. Track 7 is announced as "The Monster Inside" but I can't find a song of this title on any of their albums or singles and couldn't find any mention on the net of them having a song with this title.  Maybe that makes this song special, or maybe not.

Supporting Siouxsie And The Banshees.

This was the day before my first gig (Scientists/Siouxsie at Bradford St. George's Hall). I couldn't find a recording of the Scientists from the Bradford gig but I managed to get this one from the day before.  (At Bradford the singer introduced the first song with "We're The Scientists and we're gonna play for the next 30 minutes whether you like it or fuckin' not.")

I don't have the Siouxsie set from Sheffield although it does exist, but the final encore was on the tape with the Scientists which is why I have that one song.

Original Info File:

I couldn't resist seeing the band again after experiencing the show the night before. Bought a ticket via a trading website, arranged to meet the person outside the venue but when he didn't turn up I called him. He said he had the wristband to gain entry and was in a local pub. I knew it was a fraud, you could not leave the venue with the wristband. A bit downhearted, I told a security guard, he said they knew about the con and told me to try the box office. Amazingly there were still a few tickets! Willy Wonka moment!

Another great show. Got my spot, centre, 6 metres from front. From the start, people in front and to my left took turns to talk, one also a little singing, enough to really piss me off (I get pissed off easily I'm afraid at gig talkers). I knew that likely to happen through the concert, hence, I had to move. This happens at about 4m 10s in on track 04, I was able to move about 3 metres to my right.

The Sex Pistols - Bollocks Sessions (Flac/MP3)

A gift from Dave Sez,  two classic bootlegs of the Pistols with alternate recording versions of the songs from the Bollocks album. Spunk is in Flac, Party Til You Puke is in MP3.

Sex Pistols - SPUNK - ORIGINAL VINYL EDITION (1977)

Info from Dave Sez:

The original 1977 Spunk LP of the Sex Pistols' sessions with producer Dave Goodman was "released" just before the Virgin LP "Bollocks" and, by all accounts, outsold the official album whilst available - the fans preferred the raw Dave Goodman four-tracks to the overcooked Chris Thomas overdubs on Bollocks. The Chris Thomas overdub and re-recording sessions at Wessex Studios in May-August 1977 would later surface on the 1989 CD bootleg "Party Till You Puke". The tracklist of the original Spunk LP was:

01. Seventeen
02. Satellite
03. No Feelings
04. I Wanna Be Me
05. Submission (bubbles version)
Denmark St., July 1976

06. Anarchy in the UK 2 ("follow me!" aka Pied Piper version)
Wessex Studios, October 1976 (two days after signature to EMI)

07. God Save the Queen
08. Problems
09. Pretty Vacant
10. Liar
11. EMI (no "A&M")
12. New York
Gooseberry Studios, January 1977 (two days after severance from EMI)

The original vinyl edition gave no indication of the group and carried labels from Blank Records (catalogue number BLA 169-A/B); it was pressed by the well-known pressing plant Lyntone with matrix numbers LYN 4732-111 and LYN 4733-111.
The Dave Goodman versions of I Wanna Be Me, No Feelings and No Fun were the versions used as B-sides on the respective EMI, A&M and Virgin singles.
A 1978 expanded vinyl bootleg version called "No, Future, UK?" (labels identical to "Spunk", matrix numbers GO-001-A/002-B) had tracks 01-12 but also included two more tracks from the Denmark St sessions, both rather weak: Anarchy in the UK 1 ( "... now"), and the earliest Dave Goodman version of Pretty Vacant, later released on the official 2002 3-CD SEXBOX compilation. A final bonus track was "No Fun" from Wessex Studios in October 1976, also on the SEXBOX.
An alternative version of "No Future UK?" called "Indecent Exposure" added a sixteenth track Substitute from the October 1976 Wessex Studios sessions, also on the SEXBOX.
A long-running copyright dispute between Goodman, the Pistols and Malcolm McLaren's Glitterbest delayed an official release of Spunk until 1996 when Virgin produced the limited-edition SPUNK 1 double CD of Never Mind The Bollocks, backed by Spunk, some of the Chris Thomas Bollocks outtakes and the rarest of early Pistols recordings, the 3 demo tracks recorded in May 1976 with Chris Spedding as producer which had previously only seen the light of day as an extremely rare bootleg single "And We Don't Care" on Rotten Boys Records.

Party Till You Puke with the Sex Pistols
TNT Enterprises, TTE 005 LP/CD, Berlin/Luxembourg, 1989

Bollocks sessions at Wessex Studios with Chris Thomas in May-August 1977, reworking Dave Goodman's Jan 1977 Gooseberry recordings (marked DG/CT), and re-recording tracks (marked CT) only previously recorded by Goodman in July 1976 in Denmark St. The Denmark St and Gooseberry Goodman sessions had been released on the 1977-78 vinyl bootlegs "Spunk", "No Future UK?" and "Indecent Exposure".
For the Thomas sessions, as Matlock had left in February 1977, Steve Jones handles both guitar and bass on all tracks apart from the two versions of Submission and the new track Bodies, where the bass is played by Vicious.

01. EMI 1 3:14 (DG/CT) unreleased
02. Submission 1 4:18 (CT) unreleased
03. Satellite 4:02 (CT)
04. No Feelings 2:47 (CT)
05. Seventeen 2:05 (CT)
06. Bodies 3:01 (CT) unreleased
07. New York 3:05 (DG/CT) unreleased
08. Liar 2:39 (DG/CT) unreleased
09. EMI 2 3:09 (DG/CT)
10. Submission 2 4:09 (CT)
Cheers, Dave Sez.

De Raggende Manne - Dutch TV compilation - 1991 - 1996 (ProShot DVD)

Thanks to  Š†©kmªÑ for the links.

Band Info:
De Raggende Manne were a dutch band, who founded spontaneously in 1988 after a recorded jamsession.
The VPRO radio were excited about the recording, and transmitted it on national radio. With that, De Raggende Manne were a fact.

In their first formation they released their first independant called : Vijf Sessies.

Straight after the release, the formation changed entirely except for the vocalist Bob Fosko.

This formation has been stable for years. Their musicstyle was described by the band as "hectic Jazz-Punk. This description is referred to their first 3 albums. The band disbanded in 1999 due to lack in interest in the band.

Audio recording Info:

Equipment: Sony TCD-D8 (44.1) + Sony ECM-717
Location: Rear, center balcony
Taper: RyanJ
Transfer: DAT Master > Tascam DA-20 (44.1kHZ) > Coax > CO2 Converter > Optical In > iMac > Adobe Audition (Normalize, track) > WAV > FLAC (44.1kHZ)

Notes:
Won tickets to this event and flew out to NYC for this. Great mini-show. The band sounds great and most of the new tracks sound amazing live. "Angel" and "Should Be Higher" are both massive songs that will be good in arenas. The other few I did not care for. But you can decide what you think. I record every concert/show I go to, so even though this was broadcasted on line in a stream, I still taped it. "Barrel of a Gun" was NASTY! Great stuff. They sound well rehearsed and ready to destroy their upcoming tour. Enjoy.

Video Info:

Lineage: CBS Webcast (http://canstatic.cbs.com/chrome/canplayer.swf?pid=zp7H75bY6OpK&partner=cbs&gen=1) -> RTMPExplorer -> .FLV

Video: H.264 640x360 29.97 FPS
Audio: AAC SBR 64kbps 44khz stereo

Well, this doesn't look or sound the greatest given it's coming from a webcast, but this is the best source for the video and soundboard audio you'll find at the moment. Let's hope an HD broadcast of some sort turns up soon!
