02 Feel My Pulse [4:21]

05 Holy Grail [6:24]
06 Loose [3:40]
Band line-up:

Will Sergeant – guitar
Julian Phillips – bass

Notes:
Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is the second Mark Radcliffe session by Electrafixion.
Loose is a Stooges cover, which is also available as a bonus track on their album (but not this specific version; the one on the official release is from a live concert at Shepherds Bush Empire, 22 October 1995).
Radcliffe and Mac are taking the piss out of one another here, which is all the more amusing particularly with the ribbing about the syndrome where the lead singer of a band departs for a failed solo career and returns back to the departed band. The pity with Electrafixion is that they were going fairly strong despite middling critical reception, before the Bunnymen reformed a year after this.
There is also some minor tape bleed, and sound was muffled so some slight EQ was done to bring out the high ends.

Notes:
Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is this short radio session by Electrafixion.
It's just two tracks, no DJ interjections were present on the tape. Sound was muffled so some slight EQ was done to bring out the high ends.
Crash FM was a radio station set up by Janice Long in 1995 -- according to some sources, their on-air debut was in November 1995, which doesn't make sense of the context of when this session aired, so perhaps this was before Crash permanently situated itself for the duration of its existence.
Much like Electrafixion, Crash FM was not around for long, so it's tough to research anything about their sessions.
Any and all corrections welcome.
Enjoy,

Here's something rare and interesting for all the Echo Bunnymen fans.
Electrafixion were an alternative rock band, formed in 1994 by former Echo & the Bunnymen members
Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant, joined by bass guitarist Leon de Sylva and drummer Tony McGuigan.
They released one album, 'Burned' and four singles and EPs before splitting up in 1996, due to the reformation of the Bunnymen.
Since this originally came from a DAT, I was able to seamlessly piece the tape flip back together.
There are no tape cuts.
samples provided.

02 Hit By Something
03 Feel My Pulse
04 Who's Been Sleeping In My Head
05 Lowdown
06 Time Bomb
07 Zephyr
08 Mirrorball
09 Burned
10 Pained
11 Bed of Nails
12 Too Far Gone
Total Time = 65:50 min
enjoy
George
