Algis Kizys: bass
Ted Parsons: drums
Norman Westberg: guitars
Raymond 'Nainz' Watts: keyboards, guitar

Note:
This is the full show (with only one small cut before the encore, only a few seconds lost there I think); a hand held shot from the first row right in front of Nainz Watts. The picture is pretty sharp (with the typical graininess of old VHS tapes) and surprisingly steady.
Kudos to the camera operator for keeping it up for the full 90+ minutes!
The sound is from the camera and pretty decent although (not surprisingly) distorted in some places, most notably for almost the whole first song. Don't worry, it gets a lot better after that!

Authored & seeded on DAD by surfling january 2011.

Enjoy!

The Sisters Of Mercy - Reading Festival, Reading, UK - 25.08.1991 (DVD)

Kevin from Brighton had this laying around at home and sent it to me to transfer to DVD. A huge THANK YOU to him!!!

Lineage:

Bootleg VHS tape (Unknown Gen) - VHS Deck LG LV3796 - DVD Recorder RDR-HX820

The VHS cover says it's a 1st Generation copy, but I can't certify it, doesn't look like it.
The image and sound it's quite good, given the age of the recording and tape. The video never loses the colours wich are quite bright even if blurred a little. But it's still VHS image :)

I included the scan of the bootleg tape cover and also made a DVD cover from it, that way it keep the vintage look.

Taken from a VHS PAL video tape, which I received in a trade back in September 1998. No exact lineage known, but it's supposed to be of very low generation if the information I received back then is correct. Transferred to a DVD+RW with my standalone DVD-recorder (Philips DVDR 3430V) in September 2007. Ripped onto the PC with DVD Decrypter. The beginning and end each had a short piece from another recording, which were edited out with Cuttermaran 1.68a. Finally it was authored to DVD-format with DVDAuthorGUI 1.008b. No menu, but with chapters, one for each song.

This is a rough, but historically very interesting recording. Enjoy!
