It's been a while since I posted some metal, this band fuses finnish folk with gothic metal, so it fits the blog as a glove. For Chris who was there but couldn't record it on account of a bad position. Huge Thanks to SF for sharing his recording,

The Ramones - Bremen, Germany - 13.09.1978 (ProShot DVD)

And another great oldie for you, courtesy of S+©kmªÑ! My favourite Ramones era and a brilliant video :)

On September 13th, 1978, the RAMONES were guests in the tv-studios of Radio Bremen. It was the first tv-appearance of the band in Europe at all. For the at that time successful tv-series MUSIKLADEN they played 25 titles in abt. 50 minutes and left an ecstatic audience. Here is the unbelievable appearance unabridged with all encores for the first time on dvd.
.
For the band it must have been quite a shock when they entered the stage at the tv-studio of Radio Bremen. Although the slightly ragged backdrop of MUSIKLADEN was okay to Joey, Dee Dee, Johnny and Marky Ramone, this was not valid to the main group of the audience. Styled and bored people sat in front of the stage as if they were a leftover from the last Baccara gig. Joerg Sonntag, today director and editor, former assistant director of Mike Leckebusch, remembers in an interview (bonus-title on the dvd) that the night before the concert he strolled around the bars and pubs of Bremen and gave away free tickets. Therefore at least a part of the audience consisted of punks and rockers. The RAMONES did not taken aback due to this affected audience and played her abt. one hour concert with high professionalism and lots of fun to play together. The performed songs mostly compounded out of their first two vinyls. Finally they succeeded to leave an overwhelmed audience. For the american punk legends this first tv-appearance not only meant hardest work but also the final breakthrough in Europe.

•Although these two songs have been the only to widely circulate, it appears they are from rebroadcasts of the original performance, which may have included more tunes.
•A rumor that the band also played "Revolution" has not been confirmed.

Big Black - Georgetown Steamplant, Seattle, WA - 09.08.1987 (ProShot DVD)

And another excellent upload from S+©kmªÑ. A big thank you to him.

"The Last Blast"
Pro / SBD Audio

T: Panasonic DMR-EH75V (XP/PCM) / DVD-Lab Pro 2.33
.
-notes: Much thanks to Chris "tokvev" Jonasson for lending me the tape to transfer.
Despite this show being well traded, an orignal is hard to find.
.
For those that don't know, this show was supposed to see an official release via
Blast First Records as "Last Live", but apparently there were some problems
between Steve and Paul Smith of Blast First. For more info, see
http://www.dementlieu.com/users/obik/bigblack/discog/lastlive.html and
http://www.dementlieu.com/users/obik/bigblack/discog/soundofimpact.html
.
It was later put out on the non-existent "Black Label Records" and sold in
music shops (possibly the same Seattle area shops that sold the tickets,
Fallout Records and Cellophane Square). My personal theory is that this was
"bootlegged" to recoup the associated production costs, as the footage/production
is of professional quality and ready for public release. This is quite a shame as
this performance, while not necessarily the best of the final tour, is much better
than the show used for "Pig Pile."
.
This recording is missing two songs, RIP (between Cables and Fish Fry) and
Pavement Saw (between Deep Six and Dead Billy) for unknown reasons.
