Information:
Sleeping Dogs went awake after a break of 20 years.
Sleeping Dogs Wake was formed in 1987 by Karin Sherret and Robert Wilcocks. The duo had collaborated together across several years before finally creating the band that would shape their future.
The concept was simple: post punk avant-garde fury!
Two new musicians joined the group for the WGT 2013 concert: Bruno Caurat on bass guitar and Slobodan Kajkut on acoustic drums. Both Bruno Caurat and Slobodan Kajkut are confirmed as new members of the line up. Karin Sherret and Robert Wilcocks are currently writing songs for a new Sleeping Dogs Wake album to be recorded and released in 2014.
Sleeping Dogs Wake already performed two new pieces from the forthcoming album at the WGT 2013 festival, Ballad in Death and Box!
Sleeping Dogs Wake will be returning to the concert circuit next year.
For me their concert was one of the best for me on WGT 2013, the avantgarde style of folk-military rock was perfect in that venue and superb sound.
If you like bands like In the Nursery you should put the upcoming tour on top of the bill! Limited colour printed vinyls of "Understanding" were sold out on merch quick. very quick. Lucky i got one too.

Unknown brand of tape (there's no markings on it whatsoever) from a record fair. Usually unbranded or obscure brands of tape are cheap rubbish but this hasn't deteriorated at all. It's excellent quality apart from a speed fault for the first 1:22 of the first song which is not a fault of my tape but a fault with one of the previous generations.
