I've never appreciated the original sound of the silverCD. Dronistuck was also this opinion
and proposed some improvements. He did this:
1. flac to .wav decoding (trader's littler helper)
2. Left channel inverted on each track, as channels appeared to be in a 180° phase opposition ( EAC )
3. Some equalization mainly in low frequencies ( audacity) )
4. flac compression level 6 (trader's little helper)
