Lisa Gerrard - Église St-Jean Baptiste, Montréal, Canada, - 13.10.1995 (DVD)

Thanks to cEnda for sharing this one here.

Original Info file:

Another one from the collection of Tuesday3, who got this from eBay, so thanks very much for sharing it!
This might be from the same source as the 1996 Montréal-recording of Dead Can Dance I posted in november last year. I added chapterpoints on each song and a menu. Again the soundquality is excellent, but the video is handheld and not always focused. And most of the time the camera is held too low to even see much of the performers, it shows the building instead.
But it is a wonderful concert and the acoustics of the church really add to the music, which is beatifully captured by the camera.

video : NTSC MPEG-2, 3.5 Mbps
audio : LPCM 2.0, 1536 Kbps
Lineage: unknown
Quality: audience recorded VHS, see samples

06 - Broken Sky

Notes:
A band that totally blew me away with their recent debut album "Sleepwalking", combining my favourite moments of "The Cure", "The Mission", "Fields Of The Nephilim", etc. to a really brilliant album. So I was very curious to see them live and they did not disappoint! Although I must admit that the singer maybe didn´t have his perfect day (he even apologized for f***ing up the song "Cold"
- which was not a Cure cover btw) and was mixed way too loud to the front - but the mood at the show and the music was really great and so it was an enjoyable experience.

The sound in the venue was very echoey with lots of reverb which is audible on the recording. Maybe I should have stood more at the front, but - well... the recording is not bad though.

Enjoy!
