Atari Teenage Riot - Cine Jóia, São Paulo, Brazil - 15.06.2012 (DVD)

 

 

Another DVD made by the DCR team,  again from footage taken from Youtube at 1080p (check the thumbnail for quality before downloading), with two concerts from ATR, a complete audience video from the band's first brazilian concert since 1998 and an incomplete pro-shot of their appearence in Japan in 2011.

There's nothing much to say about the proshot, it's a nice overview of the concert, but leaves you wanting for more.

The audience video is another kind of beast. Shotmainly from the first row on the right side (the filmer starts a little further to back on the center but moves during the second song), makes you really feel that you're on the concert. Anything that you can expect happens, stagediving in front of the camera, moshpit, security barriers and loud sound, very loud sound! So loud indeed that the sountrack of the video is totally overblown, that is a the only low point of it, but it may be decisive for you too make up your mind.

I really prefer this video to some of the steady audience videos that are circulating from this tour, this is much less boring and closer to the acyual experience of the concert, plus is one hell of concert, the band and audience give everything they have :)
